As part of your family’s trusted healthcare team we are remaining open to serve your pets, but with significant modifications made to our operations to minimize contact and risk of spreading the Coronavirus.
At Las Tablas Animal Hospital, we are known for our impeccably clean and welcoming hospital. However, we have ramped up the regular sanitizing of all touched areas including doorknobs, computer terminals, and workspaces. We are practicing good hygiene with frequent hand washing and having employees stay home if they show any signs of illness. Other increased precautions we are taking include:
ADJUSTED OFFICE HOURS. We are adjusting our office hours in order to accommodate our community and staff. Please note our new office hours and lunch time policy. Monday – Saturday 8:00am- 4:00pm and we will be closed for lunch from 12:00pm-1:00pm. Please call us before you plan to make a trip to pick up medications or food, so we can have everything ready for you.
Conducting pet exams without owners present. Pet’s can be dropped off at the door and transferred to a LTAH member. Patient histories can be taken over the phone and treatment plans, discharge instructions and payments will also all be conducted via phone when possible.
Asking anyone who is actively sick, showing symptoms of COVID-19, or anyone who has been exposed to COVID-19 to stay at home and call us. We can arrange for medication or food purchases to be brought to your car.
Scheduling a Drop-Off Appointment is Easy!
With the rising threat of COVID-19 and recent mandates to restrict crowd interaction, we are offering DROP OFF APPOINTMENTS ONLY at this time in order to restrict the number of interactions in our hospital.
Drop-Off Appointments in 4 Easy Steps:
STEP ONE: Call us at 805-369-2222 to schedule your pet’s drop-off appointment
STEP TWO: Visit our website and complete the Drop-Off Appointment Form before your pet’s appointment. You can complete and submit the form directly online or you can download the PDF and email it to us at help@lastablasAH.com. You can also call our office so we can assist you in getting us the right information prior to your drop off appointment.
STEP THREE: Call us from the parking lot when you arrive for your appointment and a member of the LTAH staff will be ready at our front door to pick-up your pet. Our medical team will perform a regular exam on your pet and call you to discuss treatment options. Approval of services and payments can all be handled directly over the phone
STEP FOUR: Once your pet’s services are complete and payment has been made, our team will call you to arrange a pick-up for your pet.
We are here to serve our community and to help your animal companions stay healthy. As you know, pets are wonderful stress-relievers and we want to make sure we do all we can to assist safely during these challenging times.
